Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care to patients in a medical office

Duties:

- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Conduct patient intake, update medical records, and handle medical administrative support tasks.
- Assist with patient care by providing comfort, transportation, and support.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Code patient information for billing purposes.

Qualifications:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology knowledge.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong patient service skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Ability to administer medications and perform basic medical procedures.
- Familiarity with coding practices for accurate billing.
